American Legion Gaming (ALG) and Vanguard Post 1337 will attend MCON 2026, taking place October 23–25 in Las Vegas, where attendees can visit the ALG booth for giveaways, learn about its online gaming community, and enter for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch 2.
ALG will have a 10-by-10-foot booth at the MCON expo at the World Market Center on October 24–25. Visitors can meet ALG representatives, enter gift card giveaways, and learn how gaming connects Veterans and Service Members across the country.
The weekend will also feature the inaugural Military & Veteran Creator Awards on Friday, October 23, recognizing military-connected creators working in gaming, podcasts, video production, social media, and digital storytelling. ALG representatives will attend the ceremony and connect with fellow creators through the MV Creator Zone during MCON.
The awards ceremony will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the AC Hotel Las Vegas Symphony Park. Admission is free, with food and drinks included. Attendees can also participate in networking opportunities and red carpet activities.
MCON brings together Veterans, active-duty Service Members, military families, creators, businesses, and organizations for three days of entertainment, exhibits, discussions, and community activities. The MV Creator Zone will feature live podcasts, interviews, screenings, and opportunities to meet creators from across the military community.
ALG Giveaways and Vanguard Post 1337
Along with its Nintendo Switch 2 grand prize and gift card giveaways, ALG will have branded polo shirts available for eligible attendees who sign up for Vanguard Post 1337, a virtual American Legion post built around gaming, technology, and online connections.
Vanguard Post 1337 gives Veterans an alternative to the traditional American Legion post experience by allowing members to participate in discussions, activities, and community programs online. Members can connect through the ALG Discord server, participate in gaming events, and help develop the post’s future programs.
