Dispatch has reached more than 5 million players in its first year, and developer AdHoc Studio is bringing its superhero workplace comedy to iOS and Android on December 9.
The announcement comes exactly one year after the game’s October 22, 2025, debut on PC and PlayStation 5. To celebrate, AdHoc is releasing new behind-the-scenes content, expanding the game to mobile platforms, and preparing several collectibles for fans.
The mobile version will include all eight episodes, with the first four available for free. Players who want to finish the story can unlock the remaining four episodes for a one-time payment of $19.99.
AdHoc has also redesigned portions of the game for touchscreen controls. Players can experience Dispatch in its original horizontal format or use a new vertical layout created specifically for smartphones.
Developed by former Telltale Games employees, Dispatch follows Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, a superhero whose mechanical suit is destroyed during a battle. Unable to continue fighting crime, Robert takes a desk job managing a team of former villains at the Superhero Dispatch Network.
Players decide which heroes to send on emergencies while dealing with office politics, personal relationships, and decisions that influence how the story unfolds.
The game features voice performances from Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, and several gaming personalities, including Jacksepticeye and MoistCr1TiKaL.
Originally released as an eight-episode series, Dispatch delivered two episodes each week through November 2025. Its combination of interactive storytelling, superhero action, and workplace humor helped it attract a large following.
Following its original PC and PlayStation launch, the game expanded to Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
AdHoc is also adding two new modes for players who own the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition.
Commentary Mode includes more than 16 hours of behind-the-scenes audio from the voice cast and development team. Players can choose between cast and crew commentary, with different conversations available depending on the decisions they make throughout the story.
Storyboard Mode allows players to experience all eight episodes using the original drawings and animated storyboards created before the game’s final animation was completed.
Both modes are available as a free update for existing Deluxe Edition owners. Players with the standard edition can purchase the Deluxe Edition upgrade for $10.99.
The anniversary celebration also includes physical Deluxe Editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, along with a vinyl soundtrack, an art book, new merchandise, and a live concert scheduled for December 3.
AdHoc is planning additional giveaways through November 22, giving fans opportunities to receive merchandise and digital game codes.
Dispatch is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. The iOS and Android versions are scheduled for December 9.
