Marvel may have another game in development, and early reports are already getting attention from fans. The project is reportedly called Project Comet, a rumored action RPG connected to Scopely, the company behind Marvel Strike Force, Monopoly GO!, and Star Trek Fleet Command.

What has surfaced so far points to a Marvel RPG built around heroes and villains, team-based combat, character upgrades, and missions designed for repeated play. Reports also suggest the project is being designed for phones and tablets, with co-op missions and a roster that pulls from different corners of the Marvel universe.

The leak gained more attention after MultiverSusie on X shared what appeared to be early character models, animations, and other material tied to the project. Other reports and social posts have also pointed to closed testing and additional leaked details, but Marvel and Scopely have not officially announced the game.

Reports describe Project Comet as an action RPG with shorter missions, live-service features, and controls built around quick play. Players may be able to collect characters, level them up, improve their abilities, and use different team combinations in battle.

The rumored game may sound familiar to fans of Marvel team-up games such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Players could build squads from across the Marvel universe and fight through missions with different heroes. Project Comet appears to be taking a similar idea into the mobile space, with more focus on character collecting and ongoing updates.

Leaked details reportedly point to co-op missions, higher difficulty levels, and rewards tied to tougher challenges. If accurate, that could give the game more than simple solo missions. Co-op play would let players team up with others, bring different heroes into battle, and take on enemies that require stronger teamwork.

The rumored roster is one of the biggest reasons fans are watching. Characters reportedly connected to the project include Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, Elektra, Juggernaut, and Silver Samurai. That mix gives the game a strong starting point, with major Marvel names and a few characters that longtime comic fans may be excited to see.

If the reports are accurate, Project Comet could give Marvel another chance to compete in the free-to-play mobile RPG market. Mobile games can reach a wide audience because they are easy to access and do not require a console or gaming PC.

The biggest question may be how the game handles progression. Mobile RPGs often depend on character collecting, upgrades, and in-game purchases. Those systems can keep players engaged, but they can also frustrate players if the best characters or upgrades feel too hard to earn without spending money.

Combat will also matter. Marvel characters come with different powers and fighting styles, so fans will expect each hero to stand apart. Wolverine should play with a more aggressive, close-range style, Spider-Man should rely on speed and movement, and Captain America should bring strength, defense, and tactical control. If the game gives each character a clear role, players will have more reason to experiment with different teams.

For now, Project Comet remains unconfirmed. There is no official release date, final title, gameplay trailer, or full platform announcement. The leaked details suggest a Marvel mobile action RPG may be in the works, but fans will have to wait for Marvel or Scopely to share official information before knowing what the game really looks like.
