Call of Duty: Warzone players have a chance to compete, represent their military branch and earn bragging rights during the GSG Presents: Jolt Cola® Memorial Day Challenge.
ALG has been invited to participate in the Gold Star Gamers event, which gives players a chance to test their skills in public Warzone matches and submit their best gameplay for the leaderboard.
The competition runs through May and lets players compete on their own time. Participants can jump into a public lobby match, record a full gameplay session and upload their best run to see where they rank.
How the Competition Works
Players do not need to follow a set tournament schedule. They can play when it works for them, record their session and submit the footage through the official event page.
Submissions will be added to a leaderboard, giving players a chance to prove where they stand against the rest of the field.
Prizes for Top Players and Early Submissions
The event includes several prizes for players who climb the leaderboard. According to the event prize showcase, the grand prize is a Bushcraft Weekend for three at Coyne Survival School, valued at $600.
The top two players will receive a Turtle Beach headset valued at $90, and the top three will receive a Gauntlet Gamer Glove valued at $50. The top 10 players will receive their choice of a Jolt Cola hoodie or T-shirt, valued at $50.
There is also a bonus for early competitors. The first 250 people to submit a gameplay clip will receive a case of Jolt Cola, valued at $29.99.
Gold Star Gamers also says special giveaways are planned during the Memorial Day livestream.
Branch Rivalry
Participants are also asked to list the branch of the military they served in when submitting their clips. Gold Star Gamers is tracking a “Branch Rivalry” tally to see which service has the strongest Warzone players.
The rivalry is meant to be fun and focused on military pride, giving Veterans and Service Members another reason to compete and represent their branch.
Submit Before the Deadline
